The ET in the model name is the whole argument: an EverTune F7 bridge, which uses a spring-and-lever mechanism per string to hold tension constant. Once set, the guitar does not drift out of tune when the room warms up, when you bend a neighbouring string, or when you press too hard on a chord — and intonation stays correct up the neck. For a seven-string tuned low, where a few cents of drift turns a chugging riff to mud, that is not a gimmick. Everything around it is specified to match: a 26.5-inch scale to keep the low B tight, a nearly flat 20-inch ebony fingerboard with rolled edges, 24 jumbo stainless steel frets that will not wear, a caramelised maple neck with graphite reinforcement and an oiled finish, and Luminlay side dots that glow on a dark stage. Misha Mansoor's own MM1 pickups are voiced for definition under high gain rather than raw output, with a push/pull coil split for cleans.
